I'm just starting to write guide sites for a few different towns across the US and finding ways to monetize them. I've been doing freelance web design for 10 years, and temping with bigger firms for the past year.

I've never really focused on ads and adwords, and turning sites into paying propositions. I've done a little SEO, but need to learn more.
