Hello, my name is Marc and I am a self-thought non-pro webmaster from NYC... The web is not my primary job but it's a hobby I really enjoy. I design my own sites and I run an online music magazine, which made me learn a lot in terms of coding... I just wanted to say hello...
I am going to try to stick to the rules here and not go off topic so I will post my website in the Site Review section as soon as I am allowed to do so (and grow some thicker skin) ;-)
so far so good... it seems to be more "elitist" than other forums I have been on and use, and I am getting tired of the captcha already, but you guys seem nice so far ;-)
by the way, where in this forum can I make sure that my email is not displayed anywhere so that spambots can't get it? can of you guys tell me if my email is visible and/org where the settings are for that? I can't seem to find them in my CP
Welcome to DP. Yes we are very nice people Seriously,I got alot of help from the other DP members, they are not snobs at all. With regards to the hiding your email - go to CP and then go to Settings and Options and make sure Allow vCard Download box is unclicked ( i hope my answer is correct)
