    Been a long time lurker but finally signed up. Such large deposits of information on this site that you could spend years here and still not read everything.

    I'm an Online Publishing Manager of some fairly heavyweight sites in the UK but also run my own blog.

    Hopefully aim to be around here more often and posting :)

    - online brand development
    - SEO & online marketing
    - product development & strategy
    - day-to-day running
    - analytics
    - commercial deals

    Its a great job as you get involved in all areas of the website.

    It does sound like a great job - do you get involved in any coding or do you delegate that to other people?

    What sort of qualifications do you need to do a job like that?

    I've got a basic understanding of coding and how websites work. We have a digital media team that do all developments etc as per our requests.

    In terms of qualifications I've got a degree in Psychology but have tons of online experience and knowledge....
