welcome ayaw... This is definitely a great place to start. As stated before, you will learn a lot here. I know another programmer turned blogger... Cybercoder, and he has definitely had success blogging. But having a programmer mindset is difficult when it comes to blogging... at least for him... One of his biggest struggles was the actual posting part of it. He is more of a behind the scenes type and would love nothing more than to have someone trustworthy posting while he maintains the blogs. I hope you don't have that issue. Programmers are good to have....
