    I would imagine so. I mean, there are over 1billion of them. It does become alot cheaper to offshore work over there. Ah globalization at its best. There are some decent SEO companies in India as well. Hmmm...it's 4th July weekend...does this make me anti-american for saying such things???

    seogirl, I only did it because matching two people up and making sure there is love makes me feel all warm inside, like a honey bun heated for 20 seconds in the microwave.

    And just to let you know I'm not profiting off of it. It's not like I was promised 12 chickens, 2 horses, 1 pig, and a bushel of apples. I learned the hard way never promise a woman that you don't know to another person you don't know, try to profit from it, and pretend it's all in the name of love.

    On a serious note though, I'm upset because I was actually supposed to go to India to work on a movie. I worked with a director here for a movie called Diwali, and he was looking at going back to India to do another one, but it fell through.

    this is wrong information and a big misconception about india.
    i agree that about ten years back, love marriages in india was a dream come true, but now things have changed and so has the people's thinking.
    Now love marriages have become common, but yes , obviously with some exceptions!! and my case is very far from that exception.... i strongly believe in a love cum arrange marriage and so do my family members..:)

    About canadians , i dont know really much although i have many of my relatives there in canada.. but you are free to tell me about canadians here... and increase my knowledge:D :eek:

    HI everyone, I think this Indian is late in joining this hilarious introduction thread. I found this thread as marriage beauro. Well hodge, nice replies, made me laugh.

    Someone asked about Comp Enggs in India. Yes there are lotta computer graduates and post graduates coming out from universities. The IT industry is on boom in India. And thats why its difficult to find Software Engineers in India, as they are hired with huge salaries already. But yes you can find one, by offering 50% more salary than before. Fresh graduates coming out every year, and they are really brilliant... I also prefer to pass freshers in interviews than experienced ones at times. Freshers are easy to mold into any technology and their grasping power is tremendous. Its the case with almost all Indian engineers because since childhood they are more into aptitude tests and solving difficult mathematical problems. Probably this is what helps them to get into softwares. OOh! Did I write a lot... I don't know may be because I have lot of time in hand as its sunday.... by the way, Welcome SEOGirl... I am from Pune near Bombay. Working in Software Industry only ;)
