I am thrilled to have found this forum! We are going on our 3rd year of an open ended trip around the world as a family blogging/vlogging as we go. We have become experts on extended travel, mobile living, frugal family travel (live on 25K a year total for family of 3), and road schooling.

We became more popular than I ever expected, so we recently monetized our blog ( and became Youtube Partner) and I am fairly clueless trying to learn every thing that I can in bits and pieces as we roam.

We travel for 6/7 months out of the year and have been wintering in Spain. I am not always plugged in on the road, so will participate more when we get down to Spain this fall. ( In Sweden at the moment).

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome and kind words!

Yep, Msi52, we are totally mobile and have no permanent place of residence. We sold our home in 2005, right at peak for our area and everything else, including cars, before take off. This allows us to live very cheaply & we have really enjoyed our rentals in Spain that are super cheap, yet luxurious. The same places go for a fortune by the week in high season. We can walk to everything we need so save on gas then too. It is quite a beautiful and magical 15th century small white village near the ocean & mountains.

Long stays in luxury campgrounds are even cheaper & we have really enjoyed places near the beach like Barcelona, Santorini and Dubrovnik for a month or more at a time. Chianti Hills is also one of the top 5 star resorts in Europe that we adored on peanuts.

So we have the "living large on little" frugal traveling and mobile living down pat ( even in expensive place), now to learn more about the wonderful web & how to take advantage of those opportunities. That is a big learning curve for someone like me who is computer illiterate, but I do enjoy learning!
