    Hello, my name is Shawn. I run a blog over at www.destyonline.com about business (offline and online) and try to focus on ways bloggers can run their operation more like a business.

    I've been online since '95, but up until about 2004 I mainly stuck with online games (MUDS, Everquest, WoW). I started my eBay sales company last year and closed it last year as well. I focused on selling iPods at markup; when Apple created the next version of iPods for their iTunes movie sales, the prices fell and I could no longer compete with the long established players on eBay.

    I've got alittle bit of coding experience back from high school and college (early 90's). Given time and examples, I can pickup bits of coding, but nothing too fancy.

    Right now I'm focusing on learning the art and science of affiliate marketing. I've been directed to Perry Marshall's Adwords system and Chris Carpenter's GoogleCash system. There's just so much information out there, I don't want info overload, so I'm trying to start with the basics, and from what I can tell, GoogleCash does that (no, I don't sell it as an affiliate :p)

    I'm an info junkie and like to learn as much as possible, so I'm looking forward to what I can learn here.
