Hello Everyone.. you have all inspired me!

Hello! As a LOOONG time lurker, first time subscriber of these forums, let me say that I feel pretty ashamed it took so long for me to set up an account.


As a matter of fact, it took a realization on my part that I was gaining nothing by reading of others sucess, unless I ventured out myself.

The decision to join others here in attempting to make headway in the online marketplace was not easy. Ive got very little (none?) startup capitol, but the biggest motivation ever.. my daughter.

Im a single father, and that itself makes it very hard to part with some money to make this attempt. I know that there is nothing guaranteed in this business, but I trust with those who have motivated me until this point from this forum, along with the assistance with those I will develop relationships with in the future, and the motivation of my daughter's smiling face I'll make a go of it.

I have already gained a TON of information from the users here. My plan is to chronicle my attempt weekly in a newsletter of sorts, and I hope sometime after I get enough posts to get the link into my signature I will get some subscribers.

Please dont think of this as ANY way that I plan to simply harvest emails, that is not my intent. I want to give back to the community which gave to me so much even before I started.

I am starting my chronicles now, and if anyone is interested in watching the humor of someone just starting out, falling on his face, please PM me. I would post the link here, but as this is an introductory (read first) post, I feel it might be in bad form.

That is why I am somewhat ashamed about not making an account here before. Im very greatful for everything I have read here so far, but it all seems so overwhelming. I am trying to market clickbank products, through adwords, and so far with roughly 53 clicks over 3 products have achieved 0 sales. My current models seem to be falling through the cracks, but I may have picked products which are too competitively promoted as well.

My domain name is somewhat specific to the first choice in product I chose, but I think can be modified to fit quite a few others. It's 5 characters long, with a specific word in the title, so should be somwhat easy to remember.

Hopefully I can ask enough educated questions here to prevent a flame war, and promote my sucess.

Well, My adwords credits are over. My initial hopes that I would be able to make enough per ad campaign to pay for the next were undoubtfully over optimistic.

I ended up with several thousand impressions, 53 or so clicks, and zero (0, nada) sales.

I guess it's time for a landing page, a few more personalized articles, (although the one I wrote at edit: removed the siteI thought was pretty amazing) and maybe some ezine article marketing.

Anyhow, it was $15 that I didnt invest personally, now to decide whether or not to continue adwords marketing, or move towards SEO focus, or bum marketing or what.

Also wanted to apologize to which ever moderator game me the warning for the post I made in general marketing. It was simply a tool I thought would be useful, so I posted it.


Im currently working on some landing pages for my site. Maybe I'll get some emails on those who dont choose to buy the products that I am promoting.

Also, Im planning to put some adsense into the landing pages to increase the possibility that I'll get some kind of income for these visitors.

@Sir Rusty --have watched your post along with many others around here. What inspired me the most is the community which helps one another even though (despite?) a lot of times some of the help might be given to direct competitors.
