Hello Everybody, I have passed Open schools exams of Class 10th Exams, I am currently 14 years old, i had given double promotion to pass 10th. Heres my all stats:- (passing marks was 33)

    English :- 42/100
    Word Processing :- 56/100
    Psychology :- 47/100
    Hindi:- 42/100
    Economics:- 38/100

    Percentage:- 38%

They are low, but my family including me had expected passing marks... Because i dont care whether it is more 90 or what, I had just wanted passing marks. I had started my studies when only 3 days was left for exams. This pattern is named as NIOS it can be learn from www.nos.org .

I hope those are not percentages out of 100??? Grading system must be different because here, it would all be a fail except for word processing!

Firstly congratulation for passing your tenth standard exam. You seem to take your studies for granted. Please get into the habit of studies. It will help you to shape your career in life.

Congrats on passing but only a 33% pass mark? Seems a little generous. This wasn't UK GCSEs?!

Well congartulation on passing and I am shocked that you need 33% to pass while in Gujarat we need 35% to pass.

I have exam from Friday 15 to 22 June and hoping better results from last semster when I got 69.2% in 2nd year BE in Computer Science .:)

That's a miserable result... it would have been better if you would have gone one year at a time and ensured that you learn all the fundamentals properly.

Different educational institutes/boards have a different grading system.

35% in UK is not equivalent of 35% in Canada or 35% in India.

    Thanks..
In NIOS the passing marks are 33, NIOS is popular all India, I was the lowest aged student, NIOS is only 10th - 12th. Also in all India's states to get passed in board exams you need to get only 33%. I Dont expect more than passing marks, One time i had got like 85% in 8th no one congratulated to me so i had think that what will i get if i get high marks? Thats why i had expected only passing marks in 10th, and also i had become webmaster before exams so i had alot of work to do.

My friend, you don't get good marks just so because everyone congratulates you. You're talking as if you're doing the NIOS guys a favour by giving their exam.

    Grow up buddy.
