Hello Everyone! First off, what a great forum this is - I have browsed several other forums, but this is the only one I have found that appealed to me enough to actually join. Just spending some significant time the last two days reading has helped me totally revise my off-site seo strategy, dramatically increased my understanding of off-site seo, and helped me improve my business model and plan. What a wealth of information, knowledge and experience there is here. I started my first website in March of this year, 2009, and had 4 sales my first 2 days, of a clickbank product (non-IM related). Needless to say, I was hooked. I have spent a very modest amount on my education, just a few ebooks and a couple of months at PPC University, learning the basics. I really hated my job, and taking action was easy for me. Working part-time on my affiliate marketing business for the past 9 months, I am now earning a good 2nd income, about 1/2 of what I need to not need a job anymore. Enough to where I felt comfortable quitting my full-time job and just taking contract gigs to make ends meet while I reinvest most of my profits into outsourcing so I can grow my business faster. I hope to be able to go full time with it in the next 6 months ( and lease an office!) and at the rate my business is growing, that is an achievable goal. Working at home with 4 kids has, umm, the potential for distraction My business model is somewhat of a hybrid - I use PPC, organic, email marketing, and article marketing. About a third of my traffic is organic, but my goal now is to bring that up to 2/3rds, while maintaining my current ppc campaign structures. I monetize with adsense as well as with several clickbank products and a couple of CPA programs through CJ. Email is driving about 25% of my sales now, though I would eventually like to see that at 50%. Anyways, I am glad to be here, and to be a part of such a great community. To our success! Bryan
