Ja, jeg er så fra København... Ups sry - I forgot ;) This is after all a very international crowd.

    So anyway here goes:
I am situated in Kongens Lyngby just north of Copenhagen, Denmark in a spacious 124m² rental appartment with two sons age 2 and 4, luckily in and out of small bookkeeping jobs these days (not to my wife's liking :( but thats another story) and spending all my time trying to become that great big webmaster-of-the-.... who just makes his living off his computer.

I own a few domains that would make good e-commerce locally, but I'm focusing on the traffic-driving and dynamic-content-building side of the game for this year, while easing myself closer to being able to actually build an e-commerce from schratch.

While some would - and probably will - argue that you don't need to reinvent everything, I have started a business myself 15-odd years ago (35 employees) and learned from it, that the more I understand and are able to do myself, the better my chances are of getting succesful. Simple truth, but there it is, the wisdom of half a business-life in one sentence.

Btw back then (in 1991) I started out "designing" a complete database for transport-distance-price-calculation in filemaker-pro on mac... it was fun, and I remember back then nobody could understand why on earth anybody would want to give you the opportunity to order over the internet "When you can use the phone"

I'm gonna be active on lots of threads in here - not least to get my number of posts up - but allways trying to contribute good content to what i so far have been able to determine as the greatest place to hang out at night - all night... I mean, where else can you enjoy a +2.000-post thread debating weather linking from one place or another actually works... and then see the report too?

Loving the fights you guys have too - Cafe on mars really got me going there. :p

Welcome! Now that's what I call an intro.

I can occasionally help with the fighting (I call it debating), especially when Anthony is there or some none-suspecting noobs :D

Anyway, I've been to Denmark. From Arhus all the way up North and then back along the West coast. Legoland was mighty cool indeed. And on the camping site we had these large lego blocks. Unreal. So much better than a PS2!

Enjoy your time here, we look forward to your questions and input the like.

:p - oh and don't you all worry, there'll be plenty of q's

Btw I just got myself a Gmail due to the precious people in here - Todd was the kind person at the right moment. Thank you Todd.

Now I can probably soon get away with sending lots of pictures back and forth between my Iclandic inlaws and myself in Cph.

Oh and on the note of Legoland... hrmm guess you're allways the worst tourist in your own country :) (but it did sound like a thrill - something for my two boys to run crazy with)

miko67 (fantastic responses in here, I'm so gonna start a new thread soon as the misses and the kids are sleeping tonight :D )
