Hello can you please take a look at my blog?

Hello everybody, i'm new here and after reading this forum i would like to join discussion. Well i run a small site www.celebritygossipeveryday.com and after two months i collect 1$ from google adsense i have around 150 visitors per day and i know that that is not much but i have a question.
Do i need to put better ads on my page?
Or do i need to collect more visitors and bookmakers to my site and after that to try to earn more money?
I put two new stories every day and if you have some time can you take a look and tell me are they attractive or not?
you can also tell me what is best way to promote that site ( i read a lot of digg.com, youtube.com and other stuff but new way is always good ? )

One idea would be to improve the placement of your Adsense ads. I had to scroll down almost to the end before I saw a block of ads. You should integrate the ads better into your text, for example right after your post title, or immediately after it, instead of just in the right column. There's no clear reason why people would look at content in the right column if they're reading stuff on some celebrity in the main column - unless you draw their attention away from the main text.

 

I have had few modifications on my blogs adsense ads. And ended up with one final ad placement. It generates $3 per day now. And hope it continues even if there is a global crisis going on.

 

Your ads are so far down the page it almost looks like they are an after thought.
Who knows. One source tells you to make the ads blend in with the content of the site.
Another source says the ads need to be bigger to catch the attention of the reader.
Perhaps trial and error. Time will show what works best.

 

Celebrity websites don't really generate all the much money because the majority of people paying for advertising are simply running larger celebrity websites. It is like generating 1k visitors a day for a chess website, don't expect the same revenue as a make money online site would get.
