Hello All, I'm Mike!

Hello all, i'm Mike! I am a recent Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Western Connecticut State University, and following my graduation, I have started pursuing a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University. With an already solid base, my focus in Marketing will allow me to develop my skill set further and provide me with a better knowledge to continue my professional career in the marketing industry.

As a marketing specialist, I have served as a Sales Associate at Staples Inc. since 2017, ensuring that customers receive outstanding service by actively engaging with customers and providing solid product knowledge while maintaining excellent company standards. I have worked individually and collaboratively with management on strategies to further increase revenue, as a result, I have been awarded the #1 seller of warranty plans for 15 consecutive months.

On top of my work at Staples, I am also managing my own business on Amazon as a Product Reseller. I have quickly developed abilities to establish rapport with customers, created a few marketing campaigns to up-sell products, and build a loyal clientele. My expertise in the domain, corroborated with my excellent communication skills, allowed me to work with clients via all forms of media to determine which products would better serve their needs, and within two years from launching the business, I have been able to achieve over $10,000 in sales.

As a professional focused on personal and professional development in the marketing industry, I am a member of the American Marketing Association and Toastmasters, and I possess excellent skills with business applications, including SPSS, Google Ads, and have a fair understanding and maintaining Google Analytics. Various marketing campaigns that I have worked on allowed me to obtain operational knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and learned how to code in HTML and CSS.
