I came across this article site and it has the best looking AdS bar I have ever seen:

    http://www.buzzle.com/articles/132658.html

But, I think it's against tos when I look at the code behind as to how they did all that formatting.

I am very interested in your opinion b/c this is a really sharp nav/ad bar IMO.

Well for this placement you couldn't have a problem (so if you placed your ad in a table with a top bar like that, it's fine as long as you just put sponsored or advertisement and no other text.

For other premium publishers who use images, etc, there would be a problem if you followed the same thing.

The code is kinda complicated. I will experiment and let you know how it goes. Thanks for your input. Have you had a chance to see the code behind the page for the ads?

You CANNOT use this code unless you are a premium publisher (maybe you are?)

If you are not a premium publisher, you must only use the codes provided to you from your adsense account panel.

Well that kinda stinks... I really like that ad bar... it blends so well... I'm not a premium pub and like your blog says, probably will never be.

I still want to play with that code though so i'll do it on a non public page to see what I can come up with for the fun of it...

Do you agree the buzzle ad bar looks good?

That's not my blog, I was just quoting it :)

Sure experiment all you want, just make sure to delete the PUB ID - if you use it and google sees your using it, you might get yourself banned otherwise.

It looks okay, iv seen much better ones who are a premium publisher, the blending is the best thing available to them.

Any site that receives 20mill or so traffic a month will have premium publisher ads... look at the major sites CNN, etc... you'll find what you thought was real content, is actually ads. :)
