Heir of Islam's leadership dies in the battlefield .... Since when the God's messengers die in the battlefield? ...........Iraqi security officials have struggled to protect the annual pilgrimage to mark the end of 40 days mourning for the 7th century battlefield death of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson. Shiites consider him the rightful heir of Islam's leadership, which cemented the rift with Sunni Muslims........... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070311/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq A Divine teaching is supposed to be about Peace, Love, Compassion etc..... Or at least that's how I know it. "Peace is for the smart ones. War is for the fools." B.D.
just goes to show that islam has never been a religion of peace...one could say the same about Christianity during the crusades, but then again, Christianity is not murdering fellow christians today... you don't see Catholics being killed on a pilgrimage to Rome by protestants...
The crusades where not Jesus invention. Jesus preached "Love your enemies" opposite to "Kill your enemies". Muhammad was in the "kill your enemies", fight them etc. philosophy. Muhammad himself led numerous wars, which makes me doubt he's a true prophet. True prophets do a lot of Good and Great things. They know war is obsolite. They know that people should treat each other as brothers. And if your brother or sister sins you should not stone them or cut their hands etc. since you're not sinless yourself.
