    Alright folks, here's my problem:

I started a site up 6 months to sell my own ClickBank e-book, so the main domain is my sales letter page.

I created a seperate 'articles page' littered with my own original articles which I pointed to my sales page with the appropriate keywords for my subject. I used these articles to gather external links to my main domain/sales letter.

I now have over 1,000 backlinks to www.mydomain.com

However, I'm realised I'm limited in achieving the very top rankings for the MAIN BIG keyword having my site like this, and I'd now like my MAIN domain to be the article page, which has the articles on and my e-zine sign-up on, you see. And I'd like the sales letter to be on say www.mydomain.com/salesletter.html instead.

Trouble is I'm not sure how to go about doing this, and what effects it may have on all the keywords I've optimized for and my search rankings. Currently only Yahoo and MSN are giving me traffic as I'm still in the Google Sandbox.. MSN is providing 95% of traffic, which comes mainly to www.mydomain.com

Can anyone advise on how I'd go about switching the articles page (www.mydomain.com/articles.html) to the main one www.mydomain.com, and what effects it may have?

Or do you simply think I should begin building lots of backlinks to the articles.html page currently there? I'm quite willing to do this and wait for that page to start ranking high but I'd prefer a proper looking website on www.mydomain.com instead of just a sales letter...'cos the articles page is VERY much a nice, informative website packed with content and has links to my sales letter for my e-book - so you can see it would be much better the way I'd like to change things.

Thanks a bunch in advance.... !

    Pete
