Heavy spidering

I have a 3 month old domain that is getting some really heavy spidering by yahoo. On average, over the last 3 days, there have been 3000 yahoo bot hits per day.

Would this be any indication that maybe they will index the site soon. I do have some backlinks, ranging from pr0 to pr4 pointing to my site.

As long as you get a few visits from Yahoo bot, chances are your site will be in their index soon. They will keep coming back very often. It may take a couple of months before Yahoo shows your site in their listings.

Hmmm. 3000 yahoo bot visits for 3 months is unusual. This situation is also possible if someone uses mirroring or mapping tool. I am not sure about that. However, if yahoo bot visit your site 3000 times, your site should be listed soon.
