Yes, i think both exist on this earth, if you are happy and enjoying your life then it means you are in heaven, if you are very sad then it means you think you are in hell.

I have a weird belief when it comes to these. I truly believe in Heaven, but for Hell it's different. I believe that if people don't repent before God or if they do but are just falsely doing it, you get sent to either a type of Hell or a Purgatory to sit until you truly repent and then you go to Heaven. It's basically like a loving philosophy where God is a loving parent and if you're bad, unrepentant for bad sins, then you go to one of those places like being grounded or in timeout until you have learned your lesson. Then you get to come play with the rest of the kids, have freedom, get your car back, etc. I know, everyone will probably disagree no matter where you stand, but it's just something I believe in. Like I said, it's based on a loving, parental type God and not a vengeful God.

How do I know this? Well, after stating my belief that I didn't believe in going to church to be faithful, I was questioned thoroughly and some other people at least believe that. This is far more radical to many, so I'm expecting some 'responses' to say the least.

Just one sin can cause your soul to be thrown to hell. If you sin, your ultimate end will be in hell so don't think you get a chance to repent after you die. Because salvation is only available to those who are still alive on earth. When you are dead, you have no more chance. Going to the church every Sunday is necessary. You must go to the church unless you really can't go, for example seriously ill. You should not use small excuses like fever, sore throat, rain and etc to say you don't want to go to church.

"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." (1 Thessalonians 5:11 KJV)
"But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." (Exodus 20:10 - 11 KJV)

Heaven and hell are real. You can visit http://www.spiritlessons.com to read the testimonies.

I knew this was going to happen. I love how hard core Christians put me in the same boat as Atheists even though I'm about as far away from Atheism as Christianity is. If this was a spectrum, Atheism would be on the left and Christianity would be on the right and I would be on another side. I guess it would be more like a triangle with Atheism on one point, Christianity on another, and my beliefs on another. Again, I still believe in God and Heaven, just not in church and that the bible is exactly literal so that some quote is exactly what is going on.

And as far as those quotes go, Zirkon, I don't see anywhere where it states you HAVE to go to church. Only that Sunday is holy and not to work. I take it that you can pray how you want to, congregate if you want to, but it's not a requirement to go to a house made of wood and stone. But again, I'm going to Hell I guess because I wasn't scientific enough with my algorithms of faith.

When you go to church, you get to worship God and be near to him. Being a Christian is not just believing that Jesus died for you on the cross and resurrect on the third day. You must carry your cross daily for Jesus. This means that you must sacrifice yourself to have fellowship with God for example reading the Bible, going to the church, taking part in bible study programme and etc. The Bible is the word of God. It is what God wants to speak to us. The books in the Bible are written by people who have been inspired by God. Hell is a dark place. You don't want to go there. It is a place without hope.

I think it would be worse loving someone who doesn't love you back so having "Love" alone simply doesn't cut it.

Beliefs may or may not be FACTS. Just because one believes something does NOT make it true.

Just looking at the beliefs noted in this thread proves that beliefs are not facts. Most of the beliefs promulgated in this thread MUST be pipe dreams as only ONE can be correct and all of the rest must be LIES.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1 KJV) Only those who have faith in God can inherit the kingdom of heaven.

I'm going to hell too because I haven't been to any church. It's real sad for hard core believers to oversimplify matters of belief.

Do you really believe that God, who created everything, the all powerful, would only exist in church? Remember the old sayings, "Split a piece of wood, I am there. Lift a stone, I am there." These were saying that God is everywhere. You can have faith in God and pray to God on your own. That doesn't take away from your faith, nor your belief in or love of God. I have nothing against people that want to go to church because it makes them feel better, but I like how people have such an issue against anyone that doesn't go to church as if this is a horrible, horrible sin. It's like modern day persecution of beliefs.

You would think that Christianity, a religion of acceptance and forgiveness would accept people and not tell them that they're wrong and going to hell because of something as simple as church attendance. In some ways I feel I'm as different from devout Christians as I am to atheists. This is one reason I don't believe in 'organized' religion with all its rules and regulations. Only through them can you go to Heaven. Reminds me of the indulgences that Catholics used to sell to people to go to Heaven in the Middle Ages.

God is everywhere and you can pray to him wherever you are. But you must understand that God wants you to be obedient to his word. God wants us to go to the church to worship him every Sunday. This is God's commandment. God wants you to have fellowship with him and worship him. When you worship God, you will feel that he is near to you. As a Christian, you must live your life for Jesus. Everything that God wants you to do is written in the Bible. Therefore, reading the Bible is important.

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

Not all churches are bible believing church. You should not go to a Catholic church, Church of the Latter Day Saints, and Jehovah Witness Church. You should go to a non denominational church, Methodist church or other bible believing church.

Heaven and Hell are the two concepts of separation between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of evil.

They might be true, except that we cannot see it, only probably after our deaths will we know where will we all dwell on.
In my own view, the real kingdoms lies in our heart and minds. If we believe in God, HIS kingdom will be slowly built inside us and that will mean heaven for us when we die.
On the other hand, when we believe on evil, kingdom of evil will rule us.

Definitely, there are a lot of lies and truths in this world these days that we often have a hard time distinguishing which one are the real truth and the false one.
Many of us are now into false beliefs, not recognizing the real truth and directing ourselves into the wrong path.
