This could be old hat by now, but I just discovered the coolest tool ( and no I do not work for the company that makes it ). You can now get software that allows you to actually see the clicks on a home page. It's called Heatmap. It would be a lot cheaper just to look at Googles pretty little heatmap picture/image > http://google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=17954 U could save yourself paying some monthly fee by using Google's free info LOL
