I have a forum with an awesome domain and it has initially built using grabbing content from yahoo answers and it has a very nice look too.It has about 84,740 threads and 430,082 posts associated with them. And you can modify the forum categories if needed.

This forum was created in last year December but opened just three months ago as I didn't get anytime maintain this. As soon as I open the forum I could see many new registration and but lots of spammers also trying to use this forum to post spam links. So it would be great if you can just make the settings as per your interest to control or not the spammer.

And the initial content (ie. the content before laughing the forum) is highly keyword targeted(Keywords listed below) and has real great value. The no of post count of valuable content is definitely over 84,000 threads and 400,000 posts in number.

I think I don't want to explain much about this domain as the domain itself tell you how valuable it is.

And I would like to sell this valuable asset as I don't have time to maintain it. So it's up to you to decide whether you find it as something valuable to you.

I would be listing for more if I sell this on some other flipping site. But I just wanted to sell it so I reduced the price.

Ya, as I mentioned earlier when I opened the forum several spammers get into and started misusing it, then I have delted some of them and their posts, but couldn't remove totally due to sql limitations in my hosting. If I select many posts and execute a delete then quickly my account comes limited, this is because of my hosting has so many sites hosted on a shared account,

If you have a better hosting, it would be easy to find out and execute these spammers and their threads totally and do a cleanup,

 

Some additional information to clarify the above for example following is from a spammer/bot.

the forum has been spammed to death, it will not recover

 

I am pretty sure it could be recovered, Just a matter of identifying spam accounts, not much accounts involved in it,
also I can reset everything by deleting all latest threads and only have the initial threads, which are real genuine....

 

The forum would have to be totally re-created and even then there would be the remaining spam.
Why did you not add at least some FREE anti spam software to the site?
Still I believe that it could be rejuvenated.
Would not be easy though!

Ya, initially I didn't add anti spam tools which caused this spammers to play easily. Now several anti spam tools + recapture added which prevent new spammers.

As I mentioned earlier I would be able to root out all spam threads because I am aware of the initial threads and their dates and the day the spammers stated to invade.
I am not willing to do the SQL operations directly in the DB and rather I would like to do it from the moderator features from the application. I might check with hosting provider to remove restricting on SQL issue and root out spam threads.

 

Yes but the spam NEVER goes away and will always be there for this URL!
This needs serious spam/virus control.

Just a suggestion actually. the site uses mybb which is easy to customize. once the posts are pruned, install a registration captcha and stopforumspam plugin. add the forum to the postloop.com and its good to go.

As posted before the spams has been removed and it has no duplicate content within the site.....

 

400.000 posts scraped from yahoo answers is not duplicate content

I have mentioned the clearly the content not duplicate WITHIN THE DOMAIN.
And further it also mentioned that it's an initial content to boost the user experience rather than just starting a forum with zero content. Hope you understand this.
