Just wanted to get everyones opinion here because I have been thinking a lot for the next project what would be better a blog on celebrities or different health issues. Which would do best for adsense? Any thoughts from someone who has experience with both types of sites?
If it was me I'd go with both the options. Sometimes just one topic gets me bored. Plus, your earnings could be more if you can manage this niche well.
Ye, that would be best choice. But doesn't matter what you writing about.. when you mention "britney" you get bombed with low paying ads
Promotion of Celeb Sites are easier than Health Sites. Also SEO can be easier than Health Content. But if you think long term, you can get amazing click-rates from your health site. Don't forget that, top paying keywords mesothelioma, asbestos are not the celebrity names.
Excellent info everyone. Health seems like the way to go for real quality that lasts. However now I guess the next question is, what content management system? I have been using wordpress for a little while now. Its not that I can't use something else, its just that wordpress is the easiest and fastest way to customize. Any other ideas? I don't mind writing content. Just hate spending all the time on appearances and layout when its just so easy to grab a theme and have it nicely in place with Wordpress.
I like joomla, just seems like it has so many things that need customizing to make it Search engine optimized. Wordpress is actually pretty quick to tweak up. I guess I will just stick with wordpress.
i prefer celeb because i believe the key point for the adsense is traffic and it's easy to find traffic for celeb sites
So those of you that say celeb site, is it easy to get keywords for celebrity names placed well in google? Well what if I diversify to cover all celebs? I see sites that are completely devoted to a specific celebrity and there is no way I could outdo them for that keyword unless I focused on that one particular celeb and posted all the time about that person. I guess what I am saying is that I am not focusing on just one type of health issue or just one celebrity. I was thinkin more on the lines of diversity on that subject. What do you al think?
