I've been gradually building up my income over time to replace my corporate full-time gig, but the elephant in the room is always the cost of health insurance. How do any of you survive as a freelance writer AND afford self-employment taxes AND insurance. Is there insurance out there for a family that doesn't cost what I used to make in a year, just a few years ago?
