Got this email supposedly from Egold

but I know it is phishing email because

    1- They say

    then say

is it suspended or not ?

2- The "click here" link goes to

    http://www.secure001-egold.com

which doesn't look to belong to Egold at all and the whois info is lame and more over, the domain has no SSL certificate.

Also E-Gold or any big corporate service won't provide link to login your account through email message.

3- there is this part of the message

Does the word "informatloginion" sound like English ? I assume it is "login information"

I know such messages when original they are wrote by professionals and no typos in them but this one is fake.

    4- Message footer

All in one line - supposed to be

5- Looking at the message headers

    This is not E-gold ;)

PS: I registered my E-Gold account about a year ago and never did a single transaction :D

Guys, Beware of such messages :)

I keep on getting these off the 'Bank of America' - an organisation I have no dealings with whatsoever. Just goes to show that phishers are thick as f*ck.

What confuses me how did they know that I have E-Gold account while I never did a single transaction since I registered the account a year back.

I emailed E-Gold about it. let's see what will they say.

let me guess, this is your egold scam and you cant be bothered to send 30 million emails just to 20 fools that fall for your scam. so you posted the email with all the links on DP because you know you'll get 200 boneheads clicking the link and giving up their account info.

cut me in for 20% or i'll blow your scam wide open
