    I switched hosts today and my header is suddenly not showing but the rest of the site is. I've checked all the files are there, i have no idea what is causing this? i already reuploaded all files and still can't see header.

    if you want to display the header text

    <div id="Hilltop Hoods">

    <h1><span>Fanclub.</span></h1>
    </div>

    in your stylesheet you have

    span {
    display: none;
    }

    try removing this from the stylesheet or remove the span tags

    I don't understand, it's not just text i want.

    Plus if i right click the index file on my desktop and view in FF, i can view the site with the header. Then when i upload it to my host the image is gone. This is so frustrating.

    edit: now I've fucked it by messing with the html.

    it looks like your images are not uploaded or you have wrong url path on your css backgrounds.

    Wrong paths are the common cause, others might be a server running PHP on safe mode or with not GDI library.

    You might be also seeing a copy of your site from the old host if the nameservers of the new one are not fully propagated, hence the graphics are not available in the old one, not being displayed.
