Header Contest - 48 Hours - $20.00 Prize

Hi all,

I need a logo or header for a new site I am putting together.

First the site:

Name: Debunked Network
Website: debunked.net (currently in development)
Type of business: Videos and articles that debunk common conspiracies, UFOs, myths etc..

Possible Tag (other ideas welcome): Debunked theories, conspiracies and other Nonsense from the Biosphere
Colors: The color black is the only color that has been decided on for sure. I am looking for a dark mysterious type of look (possibly cartoon like).
Size: 1014 x 166

The Contest:

The winning entry will receive $20 via PayPal with only one entry being selected as the winner.

Time frame will be 48 hours but I reserve the right to extent it to 72 hours if the right design has not been received.

I am only logged in throughout the night (Mountain Time) as I currently sleep days.

I guarantee the winner will be paid and given appropriate feedback.

Vicx: Nice job with the UFO but the design is a little too simple. I'm looking for something a little more busy and preferably not just with pictures of UFOs.

Tzapu14: Cool concept but I'd like more realistic types of pictures and not just of UFOs. If there are multiple pictures within the header, I would like to see different debunked type of items covered. IE: Nostradamus, scrolls, moon landing, bigfoot, sea monster, crystal ball, tarot cards, etc.

King8: I like your header. The UFO picture is the type of graphic I'm looking for (not too simple and a drawing as opposed to a photo). I can't offer any advice with this one. Nice Job.

Hy,here is my version, I`ve played with effects, hope you like it !

 

Good Designer: I like the style and layout, just seems a little more simple than what I would like - could be the UFO.

Pacmanstyle: I like it. Could you add darker lettering and the tagline underneath?

DivineWorld: Thanks for your entry. I do like it. However, maybe you could try not splitting the website title, as well as, add the tagline somewhere. I am not sure if it can be removed but I am not too fond of the split line down the center (background).

King8: Unfortunately, I just do not have the creative vision that obviously all you designers have. It is hard for me to picture things without actually seeing them. Your current entry is good and one that I'm considering.

I would like to see someone provide me with a collage of pictures IE: Nostradamus, scrolls, moon landing, bigfoot, sea monster, crystal ball, tarot cards, etc. however, I do like many of the designs submitted and I have commented appropriately.
