And, unlike all past presidents who gracefully left the stage once their term was up, Obama plans to continue his evil work right in the middle of Washington DC. These control freaks never want to give up power and will lower themselves to any level to maintain what they can. The difference this time (I hope) is that Trump will not be afraid to call him out on this in the months ahead.

Actually, it looks like they were like me: ABC (Anybody But Clinton) in that they also have some Bernie stickers. While I think that Trump is going to do great things, I am mostly enjoying the fact that we are done with the Clinton Crime Family for good. BTW, for the low info voters who think that Billary has a chance in 2020, there is no way the leftie control freaks will let her lose another election. She is toast with them. Watch for the long knives to come out in the months ahead, in fact.

 

It doesn't matter. Do you think Trump is not going to stay true to himself? None of it matters. A non-politician, who never ran for any political office before beat all his opponents (politicians, mind you) and won the hearts of the American people. Trust me, he'll run the White House / Senate / Congress like a business. There will be no "meet us halfway" if it doesn't benefit the US economy and the American people. You and I can bet on that and we will most likely win the bet.

My comment about the "long knives" is about the left going after Billary and demolishing them and any leftover political ambitions they have (and they do, by the way.) For leftist control freaks, the only unforgivable sin is to lose elections and the Clinton Crime Family has done that in a big way.

They are so used to the lamestream press covering up for them, that they do not even yet think in those terms because it has never happened before. That is why Trump totally threw them for a loop because he has been successful at calling them out...something they simply do not have experienc with. If they had faced the same vicious media scrutiny that conservatives have faced the past few decades, they would no longer even be a viable party because their ideas are bankrupt and their policies are failed socialist lies.

 

What is fascinating, is as smart as the leftists (think they are), they've yet to change their tone, even after a HUGE loss. Full steam ahead with the same things that failed you. Amazing!

 

I just saw on Trump's twitter account that he wants all the people of the movement to come to his inauguration. If, indeed, even a third of the people come, it will be one of the largest gatherings in the history of the US presidential inaugurations. Washington DC better be prepared for the influx. Anyone going?

I follow politics like some people follow sports, yet I have never gone to an Inauguration. This would be the first one that I am tempted to go to. Alas, it is not to be. Work and family commitments take priority.

Part of the philosophy of the left is that only certain special groups of people can be victimized by hate. It is only those people who help to keep them in power (e.g., the welfare layabouts, certain races/ethnicities, etc.) who can be victimized by a hate crime. If someone else is attacked for typical hate crime reasons., c'est la vie, they probably deserved it, anyway. Taking this bankrupt philosophy to the next level of absurdity, Obama tried to claim that the Fort Hood terror shooting was "workplace violence" and not terrorism. If all Trump does is constantly point out these hypocritical and hollow philosophies shared by leftists (including the lamestream media) he will have done a great service to the country.

I think that their "marbles" are going to shrivel up even more in a couple of weeks. The swamp is getting closer to being drained. The agencies that the Obama thugs have politicized beyond belief (e.g., DOJ, IRS, EPA, Intelligence, etc.) have to be very worried. That is the danger of allowing yourself to be politicized when you are supposed to be non partisan. When the politics change, you are suddenly in trouble. It is amazing that the career bureaucrats did not recognize this eight years ago and resist the Chicago-style thuggery that Obama imposed on them. Now, they will see the fruits of their corruption play out. One hope that I have is that Trump eliminates the IRS entirely and we go to a Flat Tax or VAT of some sort. Wouldn't that be perfect justice?

 

Small businesses could finally breathe.

 

One small business, that of my accountant, will hate it, of course, as taxes are the basis of his business. The cost of an anachronism like the IRS is unbelievable for any business, large or small. It would be great to see the accountants and lawyers find a new line of work that would actually be productive.

Expect more of this fake news. That is all that the lamestream media knows to do at this point. It will especially become worse because Trump showed yesterday that he will not play the gotcha game with the lamestream media at press conferences or otherwise and that he is not afraid to call them out on their lies, misrepresentations, etc. They are getting desperate to regain the power that they used to hold over conservative politicians and Trump keeps frustrating them by not playing the game.
