HDFC Netsafe card

Hello ,

I have HDFC debit card .Can i use it to signup for HDFC netsafe virtual credit card to verify my paypal account .

Whether this process is safe and allowed in terms of paypal rules .

Please give your suggestions

PayPal used to accept VCCs' ... but it isn't accepting now i guez.. They've limited my account in just 50 mins after i verified with vcc.

I thought since this card is issued by HDFC bank and Completely legal .Paypal won't be having any problem with it .

There is no restriction in Paypal regarding usage of VCC or CC. The main aim of a credit card is to prove that you are a real human being. Netsafe does the thing but when your account is limited and paypal asks you for documents then you do not have one.

I suggest you refrain from using Netsafe cards. This was all about Netsafe from my point of view.

Now about your question . . If you have a HDFC Bank Debit card you can easily create Netsafe Card and verify your account. In past when I was not having a HDFC Bank Credit Card I used Netsafe card to verify my paypal. It worked for 3 months and then you have to add a new card for subscriptions... Which I used to have.

Now all the subscriptions are paid by my Credit Card if I do not have the balance. Netsafe Still Works with Paypal.

 

I mean what kinds of doucments they would ask .Its obvious I wont be having any documents related to netsafe card .But I would be having passport ,driving licence etc

You made netsafe Credit card using your debit card or Some other method .Please can you tell me in detail

I dont have any subscriptions . I just want to lift my limit to withdraw money .

Please analyse my situation and give your suggestion

@Ajucoolest: We all will stand to gain from your experience. So please post your feedbacks regarding `netsafe' etc. If someone opts in for exposing their `real' credit card to Paypal, is it safe? Basically people refrain from using credit cards in case the same gets misused somehow.

 

They would be asking for CC statement attached to the paypal account. You can submit any other document like Driving License and Passport as well but then they would be asking to submit the CC statement.

Yes I had the Visa Gold Debit Card from HDFC Bank from which I made the VCC's they worked when I got the HDFC Card and even one week earlier one of my friend asked for a VCC and I gave him , he verified his account easily without any problems.

Actually I have multiple subscriptions for hostings and link services for which I have to pay each month some amount.
You can verify your Paypal easily if you have HDFC Bank Debit card , sign up with Netsafe site on HDFC Bank. Your Paypal will be verified for all time but any subscriptions will have you add another vcc after three months.

Please analyse my situation and give your suggestion

I think u can use payoneer card and still get online statements if paypal account gets limited.

 

i have used a HDFC netsafe card and my account is active so i can tell its safe. As long as you fill back in the code correctly they send to you.
