Excuse me - I mixed up a different coupon. It is for the lifetime of the account (recurring). We don't offer DirectAdmin licenses currently, only cPanel. cPanel licenses cost $10/month for cPanel alone, and $13/month for cPanel + RVskins/Fantastico.

Indeed, the VPS isn't restricted beyond the resources. Even though this was answered for you I'll answer it for anyone else who has the same question: In the shared hosting environment we're the ones leasing the license from cPanel and providing it to the shared / reseller users (cPanel / WHM), while if you're on a VPS you're the one whose going to be leasing it (and therefore enabling you to have full access to every feature within cPanel / WHM).
