Having your website linked to your DP account, good or bad?

Hmm
Im using google webmaster tool and like half the backlink to my website are the one you see on the different DP pages since I've putted my website (homepage) link in my DP profile. Do you think this is good or bad for the SEO. Also my website have no connection to what we see on DP...
So I was asking myself if I should remove my link from my profile...?

DP is one of the true good sources of quality links to your site. If you go to the <USER CP> menu above and look for "Edit Signatures" menu, you should fill it out. It generates the line at the bottom of mine. You have upto 4 links, and take your time in planning the anchor text keywords.

With 136 posts in DP, you don't have to worry about "no relationship" issues.

All of your posts will be automatically updated with your link when you put it in your sig.

Be aware that if your site is related to the topic of the forums here in DP, you are good to go. But, if your site is about bull dogs, the links from here won't carry the same weight, although it will be better then nothing.

But be careful in putting DP signatures. some people abused this privilege, that's why it results banning of their DP account.

No they wont, If you never had a sig and posted w/o one, If you go and make one you wont automatically gain a sig in that previuos post, However, If you did have a sig, and you change it, It will change in that previuos post too.

Yeh but he means the sig in his profile, So when yo goto google webasmter, it will show "Goto anyways webpage", So the anchor text you get for adding your site to your profile kinda sucks, But yeh sig is the best

It is good to have sig link in DP with your your comment. It really helps and DP backlink is a quality link
