Having the same website design problem.

    Hi!
    I'm creating my website with webstarts.com and when I use firefox my website seem messy in IE8 or other browsers and when I use IE8 it seem messy in other browsers still.. and I couldn't find a way to make my website seem same in all browsers like IE8,firefox,chrome,opera..

    help me out please.. what do you suggest?

    But there isnt much problems as far as i can see... Just 2 small pics are running out.. I can Make all the things Right Over there :D

    The answer is always this: never, ever trust IE to do anything right. Using IE as a reference is like designing to a bug. Firefox, otoh, is a modern browser. Don't expect properly written markup to perform the same in IE as it does in any of the far more modern browsers: FF, Safari, Opera and Chrome. But that's why there are so many hacks and sites devoted to fixing IE. Find them and learn to use them.

    Hah, nice.

    That is always the case when designing a page,
    you have to find compromise. IE maybe sucks but
    a lot of people are using it, so since you are selling
    something u have to adapt.

    U can not make it look identically in every browser but you can
    make it look close to how u would want to.

    I use Firefox whilst developing, mostly for the awesome Firebug plugin, then test in Chrome + IE6/7/8. Best option for IE fixes is to use separate CSS files with conditional comments. Here is a good link:
