Having Small Problem w/MSN & Yahoo :-0

    Hi Folks;

    I've been using the Keyword tracker for a long time - it's great and thank you very much for providing it! :)

    Up to now I've just been using it for Google but today I copied the script file that enables access to MSN & Yahoo results and saved it as a .php file. I used TextPad to do it and it's configured to delete trailing spaces etc.

    I then changed my configuration at DigitalPoint to reflect the address of the file - it's located at http://www.askmarvin.ca/temp/tracker.php

    I don't have an API for Yahoo or MSN - I don't know if that's a requirement for this to work?

    Anyway, I'm not getting any results for Yahoo or MSN. If I click an idividual entry I get this error message;

    The request returned the following error:
    Unexpected result from your server:

    <br />
    <b>Warning</b>:  substr_count(): Empty substring. in <b>c:\inetpub\wwwroot\temp\tracker.php</b> on line <b>221</b><br />
    <br />
    <b>Warning</b>:  substr_count(): Empty substring. in <b>c:\inetpub\wwwroot\temp\tracker.php</b> on line <b>221</b><br />
    <br />

    Code (markup):
    And it continues on like that for a long time repeating itself :eek:

    Does anyone know what would cause this and how I can fix it? I'd love to see how I'm doing with Yahoo and the MSN engines :)

    Thanks!
    Marvin

    Try using something else to save it... or make sure you save it as plain text.

    Thanks Shawn;

    I was going to try it but each time I try to get to the site I get this error;

    There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

    So I guess there's something up as I was seeing that message a lot yesterday
