Having good backlinks for 1 phrase also Good For Others?

    If you have some great backlinks targeting 1 keyword phrase, could these backlinks even though does not have your keywords targeting for could still be good at all or nothing at all?

    Of course your site would have other links with the anchor text your targeting, but im asking for the links that does not have the anchor text your targeting.

    Well, it would still help your site in some factors such as in page rank, traffic, and ranking in other keywords. But for your targeted KW, there will be no benefit at all.

    it would give you backlink to your website, although it was your targetting keyword
