    Hello,

Is there any problem having two anchor text to the home page ( or any page) . The reason is to associate two different keywords to the home page. Or will Google get confused?

    Thanks

    Not any Google confusion.
I use three keywords for my home page of a website.

it's recommended to concentrate on a single keyword per page, but that doesn't hurt, no. you're fine.

This is not true whatsoever. Anchor diversity is highly advisable as it looks natural and keeps your site's footprint looking natural. Think about it you will not always have a page linked to using your keyword and would instead have some "noise" like "click here" or "this link". Targeting two keywords will do no harm for your site.

You can as many keywords but I recommend optimizing one keyword at a time so that you can focus your energy to that keyword.
