    Poor Phyza.. :(

Actually scratching increases the risk of secondary bacterial infections. You should also have your nails trimmed short. Frequent baths are sometimes helpful to relieve itching. Adding finely-ground (colloidal) oatmeal such as Aveeno can help improve itching. Oatmeal baths can be prepared at home also by grinding or blending dry oatmeal into a fine powder and adding about 2 cups to the bath water. One-half to one cup of baking soda may also be added to bath water to reduce itching.

    Hope you get better soon....

I've never had chicken pox - in fact I still have to get the shot for it every few years. Perhaps this is a good thing, but perhaps not.

    Don't scratch!

And be careful not to do much about them... you'll be permanently scarred sometimes if you do. I have a dent in my forehead because of chicken pox :(

I remember it as a child, can sympathise with you, just when you think no more spots can appear theres more the next morning :) on the scalp is quite unpleasant.

Not sure about treatment, but as your getting over it dont pick them, they will leave small scars if you do, i know its not easy, but you will have 1 - 2 weeks of it.

Sure sorry you've got that! My kids also gave me chicken pox as an adult, and I also had a light case of it as a child. It's miserable! Feel better soon.

If I am not wrong, chicken pox was eliminated long back with the help of WHN. But looks like they are popping over again.

Well I guess that I am not having the same.

But I think its a allergy from the bloodsuckers. If I get one single bite, I get it on my whole body automatically. And rest all thanks to scratching it again and again to drain a few drops of blood. But I just can't bear the dead skin or dried skin on my body and I scratch it.

I think my niece has also got the same but doctor said that they are not. May be she got the infection from me or she too is allergic to bloodsuckers like me.

Anyways friend, take care and get well soon.

Treatment of chickenpox is mainly symptomatic. Avoid going out and cold and take plenty of fluid and nutritious food.
    Wish you speedy recovery.
