My first support experience with them was nuts ! I paid for a new domain name via phone. The final step was to verify via an email from them. No matter how many times they sent me a verification email, it was full of a mile long worth of html code with no link provided to verify. It got to the point where the support person said she would have to escalate it to someone else. She also asked me to try and reply to the emails. I got a postmaster notice saying the email address is invalid and my reply could not be sent. I followed up with a separate chat to them, same thing, the person sent a verification email, again just a bunch of html coding. Same thing, she said would have to forward this to someone else. Here is a sample of the mile long code that was in the emails they sent. What is up with these guys ? <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <meta content="telephone=no" name="format-detection"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"> <!--[if !mso]><!--> <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,300i,400,400i,600,600i,700,700i,800" rel="stylesheet"> <!--<![endif]--> <title>Verify Email</title> <style type="text/css"> body { -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100% !important; -ms-text-size-adjust: 100% !important; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased !important; } img { border: 0 !important; outline: none !important; } table { border-collapse: collapse; mso-table-lspace: 0px; mso-table-rspace: 0px; } p { Margin: 0px !important; Padding: 0px !important; } td, a, span { border-collapse: collapse; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; } .ExternalClass * { line-height: 100%; } span.MsoHyperlink { mso-style-priority: 99; color: inherit; } span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed { mso-style-priority: 99; color: inherit; } .em_preheader { font-family: 'Open Sans', Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; line-height: 13px; color: #787878; text-decoration: none; text-align: center; } .em_preheader a { font-family: 'Open Sans', Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; line-height: 13px; color: #3575d3; text-decoration: underline; Code (markup):
Well, I can not explain it, but did another chat and the person who I was online with got it handled. She was able to send me a valid email, and got the domain changed.. Why it was not this easy yesterday, no idea..
