Hi, I have been trying to figure out adwords for the past week for about 6-12 hours a day every day tweaking my keywords, products, and bids. I am an affiliate, and absolutely nothing is working out. Me and a friend put up ads for the same product as an experiment. For my ad, google adwords decleared the landing page as "poor". For his ad, (the same landing page)... they said his was ok. This makes absolutely no sense. Another thing, google adwords billed me for 72 clicks... but when I look at my ads, they all have a total of twelve clicks. Has anybody had success with google adwords as an affiliate? If so, please tell me if there are any tricks because it seems like no matter how relevant my keywords seem to the product, they give me a 1/10. Another funny thing is that one of my keywords will have a 7/10, then in ten minutes I will look at the same one and it will be 1/10. Does somebody know what is wrong? If so, please help me I might be missing something. Thank you.
Hi pwys2457 in can answer only one question of your's which is The answer is Yes. Many Affiliate in the beginning do try payed advertising. Once the customers get familiar with the website or website gets popular, affiliate try to reduce the payed advertising as it is no more needed.
Email them and complaint the hell out of them and they will give you free bonus credits for your adwords program. It works!
The answer is simple the land page you are sending to is probably a bridge page or a short form cpa page. yes the quality score will fire for little while but its like a kill swith on a stolen car operated by satelite, you will get 2 secnds down the raod before google hit that button and your ads stops dead in its tracks. you can try this 1000 times and you will stull ot fire it up to run, if your mate is getting away with it on his account it will not be for long. You need to find suitable sites to promote and you will be fine. In regards your clicks you best chat with mr G about that one.
