Have your heard of my directory?

I've often wondered if all the link building and forum sigs really do make people visit and more importantly remember a web directory. I think we'd all like to think that our own directory is quite popular and that people know and remember it exists - but do they really?

So... have you heard of, heard of and visited or never heard of the Voisd Webmaster Directory?

Quite simply is standard link building and forum sigs enough to make a directory memorable?

I think Alive and Aviva are best in terms of marketing and in particular I can see a link to Alive in various directories and pages
