I don't think they've reverted on some of my websites they seem to have this in effect and others they don't. Also it shows up on part of some websites and not others on the same domain.

    Why are you lying bro?

You removed it because you weren't making any substantial money from it.

That was only part of the reason why I removed it; I feel Adsense at this moment is becoming too biased towards advertisers.

If you feel I am complaining because I earn from accidental clicks, well look at the niche of the blog, do you think there will be many accidental clicks on it?

Dropping ecpm and now ctr, it is becoming rather useless these days. The moment my sites start getting a good CTR, Google slaps me with smart pricing. Even before this, the CTR this month for my sites had dropped by ~20% and ecpm by ~15% and this is despite of the fact that I am getting more and more traffic!

Google's not doing this to screw anyone. Just imagine how much their earnings are going to drop. It's the right thing to do.

At first yes (about the earnings dropping), but then publishers will see more converting traffic which means more price increases for PPC campaigns (more competition for people wanting to get converting traffic)--> which possibly means better PPC payouts with less risk of being smart priced. Win win situation, but it's not an immediate effect.

They're earnings have always gone up - perhaps our earnings will skyrocket in a few months once they change hits the full wave of websites. Google knows what they're doing - and if they decided to change it like this during this time, we may see more advertisers as more people want to advertise during the holiday seasons.

Will we make more? Who knows, only time will tell.

Border and Background is no longer clickable for new ad codes. For those who still have the old ad code, its still clickable.

I just blogged about this and what you could possibly do in case you were "REALLY" hit by this (I think a majority of us weren't).

Simple summary (Already wrote it on my blog -> http://www.fka200.com):

New color schemes // Non blending...

Lucky I decided not to become too reliant on Adsense a few months ago.

But personally, I think in the long run its a good thing.

Now I have to work on not being too reliant on their damn traffic!!!
