Have you watched Battlestar Gallactica?

    I am thinking about buying the first season of Battlestar Gallactica.

    I enjoy watching Sci-Fi movies, but I've never watched this TV-serie before.

    Have you watched it, if so, what do you think, should I buy it?

    Sure, Galactica is awesome! (Assuming you mean the modern remake from Ron Moore and not the original series from the seventies...)

    Be warned it's serious drama. If you liked, say, Watchman, or Carnivale (also from Ron Moore) it's gonna be a blast. On the other hand if you like Star Trek Next Generation or Stargate... Galactica is going to be way too dark. BTW, it won several emmies for the best visual fx in a tv show and has a great cast.

    Oh, if you go for it, be sure to watch the miniseries (single dvd 3 hours) before you start with the first season, otherwise you'll be puzzled.

    The original seventies series is the one I use to watch. I'd watch it allover again no problem! it is a classic.
