Yes i have visited the Taj Mahal and let me tell you one thing - this is the only thing in the world (in my opinion) that is more beautiful in real than in picture. it is more beautiful in real than in a picture.
I lived with a roommate once for about 6 months or so; he was from Nepal. He used to tell of some interesting stories of the Taj Mahal. Interesting in such a way that you either 1). felt like you've been there or 2). you wanted to go there. No, me myself have never been to the Taj Mahal.
It is a pity that many of the Indians never visited one of the seven wonders of the world. I had a chance to visit the marvelous structure when in college during the all India tour. Whenever I have a chance to go to North India, I make it a point to visit the Taj. I heard that many living in UP never visited it. Familiarity breeds contempt?
I am from India but have n't visited Taj Mahal yet.. It's one of the beautiful monument ever built by a lover for his Sweetheart.. (Shajahan built it for his Wife Mumtaz After she died) In History books they say that he had plans to built black Taj Mahal on the other side of the river or nearer to it.. But unfortunately he was imprisoned by his 3 rd son (Aurangzeb) and in his last years he was allowed to see his TajMahal from a small window in his prison After he died his son fulfilled his father's wish bu burying him next to his Wife's in Taj Mahal..
taj majal is one of the best infrastructure created in this world...i have only saw it in pictures and in internet but have yet to visit it...
