7search does not have volume. If you use very general keywords, you might get a reasonable amount of traffic. Another PPC is goclick.com. All of the smaller PPC's send little traffic compared to Google. But you won't pay $5 a click at these smaller engines either!
They do have traffic they claim that they are getting around 1.5B searches per month. So I guess they are big . As a consumer you will only get sponsorised links, and this is not quite good. As an advertiser I've been successful with them I've spent $150k so far. Compared to other small search engines like miva abcsearch goclick or any other they are great. And I've met their staff at SES in NY .
The reason they send less traffic overall is because they buy clicks from publishers who target some very specific terms and do not even think about targeting the others. Terms they target are: casinos/gambling/poker job search/job training/online universities real estate (though it may change with bubble bursting) prescription drugs insurance loans/credit cards/debt consolidation currency/forex trading The reason they have tons of this traffic is this stuff pays between $7 and $1.70 per click... So everyone in their system is targeting selling those kinds of clicks. Almost everything else pays .04 per click and stuff based around these products pays around .20 a click... No one wants 20 cents a click. 50% of the traffic is porn.. Since the guys are looking for viagra, cialis and levitra...
Hard to say... here is my scenario. I used it as a PPC and turned out pretty well first time. I invested $20.00 in clicks, made $110.00 in sales and $70.00 in pure profits. But that was for health related website. Then I tried it for business related website and it sucked. I did not even notice any traffic and my credits were gone. I did keyword research and my bids were no higher than $0.15
we all know of many search engines around but exactly which is the best when it comes to acquiring free unpaid traffic?
