I have to agree with the "non-intuitive layout" 107%.

My first thought after installing it...'you've got to be kidding me!'

    lmao ---> www.ie7.com :D :D

FF, heck, even Opera owns on layout alone.

I tried the beta a long time ago, and I can't stand it. I mean I can get used to the tabs system, but out of some reason, maybe because I'm used to it, I prefer the separate window system.

I also feel IE7 is somewhat cumbersome and basically received a facelift just because it had to have one. I'll probably have to move on at some point, but I love IE6 :D

    man I d/l this yesterday.

    Its completely fucked.

No javascript, cant install javascript, thus n javascript enables pages.

I can't place the File Edit View Favs Tools etc ABOVE the search box wtf!!!!!

    It goes:
    ------------------------------------------------------
    search box
    ------------------------------------------------------
File Edit View Favs Tools etc
    ------------------------------------------------------
    gay tabby things
    ------------------------------------------------------

AND WORST OF ALL, IT BLOCKS OUT GOOGLE ADSENSE ADVERTISEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mutha***kers!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your ****ING WITH MY INCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I'm hating this user interface....

I just might makethe switch to FF, PERMANENTLY!

No flash, and guess what, I can't download it either..

It sucks so much, that I can't download ANYTHING without some sort of error msg appearing.

    Scale of 1-10?
Just take away the first 1, so it reads -10......

on the day I installed on another machine (not mine, I'm a FF user), it crashed within about 10 minutes. Since I switched to firefox about a year ago, how many crashes? O

Pretty clear which is better if you ask me...

??? You're saying high security is the default and therefore ADSENSE does not show by default ?!

Can anyone else back this up ?

JavaScript and AdSense work fine don't worry. It's just his system/settings.

I just got it up and running this morning.
    Way better than ie6.

The security issue is not with ie7!
Read more on it and you will find out.
It has to do with outlook express and the way it interacts with ie7.

I tried the release candidate and had to uninstall it because a provider's customer private access was built "only for IE", it is, translated, "we are so lazy that we've only tested this on IE 6, so if you use another browser, please, rock you.". :p

Ironically, IE 7 didn't work with these guys' buggy Javascript (errr, better said, Jscript ;)) Everything tastes better when is built with standards.

I love Firefox and IE 7 is not enough good for me to switch. I see that is the same crappy browser that was IE 6 but with a new minimalist layout pretty difficult to use, the same ActiveX potential security risks, the same difficulty to extend, and, most important for me, I can't surf without using the wonderful Adblock Firefox extension.

If IE 7 will come with something like this... who knows... perhaps I'll use it?

just for a sec i was surprised to read that ie7 blocked adsense, cos that would hurt all of us pretty bad. then i checked and found that it works fine. Must be something with that particular poster config.

I regret upgraded to IE7. Many softwares, intranet applications and websites don't recognize it. Prompt "Please use IE5 or later". This is IE7 :( too advance

it would be interesting to isolate what triggered this though!

    no kidding! how ironic

I don't blame you!! I don't see it being 'worth it' at least not for what I require

IE7 parses better high loaded sites.
I don’t like new GUI though. This "Opera imitation" is killing me. I must admit FireFox going to have simplest and most intuitive interface now.
