Have You Tried HitTail - Long Tail Keyword Tracker?

I've been using this tool to track my keywords. It separates long from short keyword and gives you suggestions on which keywords to use. BTW. It's Free to join (It has a paid version, but the free one isn't restrictive at all)..

    http://www.hittail.com/

    Give it a try..

I'm registering today coz a colleague of mine recommended this tool and somehow he is quite surprised to know that so many keywords brought visitor to his site. And all he has to do now is optimized those pages accordingly.

I would also like to add that hittail is a very good tool for finding long tail keywords; it only works if you are already getting some organic search traffic though but it is easy to install and free so you have nothing to lose.

I am not. I don't think the paid version gives me anything more valuable than what I get with the free one. I already use different software to get my traffic stats and I don't need the keywords emailed to me; I can't remember what else they offer for the paid version so I may be forgetting something more important. I just remember than when I saw the offer, I did not feel like something I need to pay for.

    The paid version:

    1. Emails you the suggestions
    2. Works on HTTPS pages
    3. Generates sitemap.xml for Google
    4. Shows you what pages the HitTail code is on
    5. Provides a secure RSS feed of your suggestions, etc.
    6. Shows you your tail-growth over time animated graph.

We love Squidoo, but there are no plans for HitTail on Squidoo, because everything's on the www subdomain (unique subdomains are required for HitTail tracking, like the way BlogSpot works), though if you are interested, feel free to contact them to suggest it. There are ways.

Hit tail is pretty good. The free tool is powerful enough I guess!

It doesn't quite seem to work in real time - half an hour or so delay.

    but still very good.

We do an Ajax pull--I think set to every 10 seconds. After awhile it times out and needs an F5 refresh (remind us that you're actually there watching :) )
