Have you taken psychedelics?

I'm curious if any members on DP have ever done psychedelics?

If you have, which psychedelics did you do, and were they a life changing experience?

Yes. It is a class of drugs. I did LSD years ago. I found it to be very introspective.

 

I tried acid ( once ) and shrooms ( once ) in 1992 - The shrooms were OKAY - the acid gave me a bad trip - it was horrible

 

I'm wanting to try shrooms. From all accounts it's fairly similar to cid.

Psychedelics are all about set and setting. Perhaps that is where you went wrong?

I did shrooms with the ladies - when I was 20 LOL - Too old now for that

 

Never too old for introspection. If anything, it becomes more important the older you get.

It is not just about the environment and who you're with but also your headspace. If you're going through a difficult period in your life, you will probably have a difficult trip.
