Aaron's book has been one of the better one's for a few years now... here's a coulpe more for ya - Mike Grehan SEO Book; http://www.search-engine-book.co.uk/ Buyers Guide to SEO; http://www.sherpastore.com/Buyers-Guide-Search-Engine-Optimization.html Internet Marketing for Dummies; http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764507788.html The SEO Handbook; http://www.the-seo-handbook.com I would supplement it with forums etc.... I wrote a piece on ' How to Learn SEO ' a while back.. may also be handy L8TR
to all of you who has read the book is this general seo, we can found anywhere from searching through google or there are tricks or secret ? I mean why this book seems so special. 79 $ is expensive for me but i'll buy if it 's worth.
I've found that most of the advice it offers can be found simply by trawling through posts in this forum and webmaster world etc. Even submitting to directories brings in emails offering tips on seo. Plus, there's always Matt Cutts blog if you want info from a guy that actually works for google.
It may be one of the best SEO Books out there but it's nothing special or unseen. You will not learn a single "secret" tactic or something like this. Just a well organized public information. You can find all this here on DP for example.
Uhh... since when is Matt an SEO provider? Do you really believe EVERYTHING Google tells ya? While ol Matt is a great guy - he's not where one should learn SEO.
I have read it. I cant say it was of any massive use to me but would definitely be a great read for beginners. Beware though, I noticed a lot in there is based of speculation and not tested theory.
Myself, I did not find the book to elaborate, advise, or provide any information that is not all ready available via DP forums. It was a waste of money for me which could have been better used on actual SEO for my sites.
