From what I can tell, here in the US, the following data centers PR is now showing in the toolbar.

    66.102.7.99
    66.102.7.104

I do think this is a shake out though.........the results are not consistent with steady, credible websites.

Yes. I did. It was yesterday for about half a day. A lot of datacenters rolled back to the December 2006 figures for my site.

Was back to normal after about 12 hours.

    Fine now.

    No forward motion yet.

    FYI,
Looks like these datacenters have now settled down and are showing current PR
    (66.102.7.99 , 66.102.7.104) in the toolbar.

What is interesting is that these 2 datacenters ended up showing the PR data in the toolbar (briefly) that showed up starting about 2 days ago. All other datacenters showed pretty much current PR. Now those 2 66.102 datacenters appear to be aligned with all others....

If there are some changes already thats good to know then. Meanwhile all my sites stays the same except for the SERPS which bounces back and forth. I'd say give it more time lets see just before the end of the month.

It's not a rollback, since it is not spreading to other d/c's, and again - it is not an update. It is merely Google redirecting some traffic to the servers that do have old PR data. That data has been there for awhile, and Google is probably doing maintenence or upgrades to servers in some of the d/c's that are being redirected.

Waaahooo! Another thread on page rank changes. We haven't had one in about two months time, so I am glad that you have started one.

I would say that the next update will be revealed in about one month, but as indicated by others, Google could be updating some of their data centers, thus the roll back. Heck, it could even be temporary as painful as it is right now.

    Hold onto your hat!

OK, I'm all confused. If nothing is happening except mebbe for a rollback, why has my site gone from a PR4, which it has been for at least 12 months, to a PR5 no matter what checking tool I use? Am I to assume that this is a Google glitch and it will resort back to it's normal PR 4 soon?

Hard to say what will happen. I noticed some "wobbling" of PR on one of my Blogspot blogs today, so I won't "bet money" that what happens today will settle in.

Wow.. some got PR rolling back, some are not affected. Does this have something to do with google algorithm? Perhaps, changing algorithm?
