Have you met a movie star?

I've met Robin Williams in San Francisco on Nob Hill. He was in-between scenes and was talking to the crowd for a while. And people think Generation X has ADD problems. I met Ice-Cube at an after party once before.

I've mainly met music, athletes, and politicians. Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull, George Lynch, Scotty Pippen.

 

Not yet.. I'm still waiting for that day.. I want to meet Ben Afleck.

I met various Star Trek stars, at various conventions and other functions. De Forest Kelly (Dr McCoy-original series/movies, he was such an old fashioned gentleman- wonderful!), George Takei (Mr Sulu-original series/movies, lovely guy with a liking for our local Shiraz ), and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi-Next Generation series/movies). Plus some other minor Star Trek actors.

Marina Sirtis actually held my son when he was a baby and he snuggled into her bosom. Now he's 12, and a Star Trek fan, he goes between wishing he could remember it and being embarassed by it. She is a beautiful person, but it's weird hearing her normal English accent, instead of the exotic accent she uses in Star Trek.

Also David Prowse, the guy who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars movies- not the voice, which was someone else, but the physical Darth Vader.

I also met an Aussie actor, Gary Sweet. We were appearing in some costumes at a special fundraiser event at a McDonalds, and he was appearing there too, and came and chatted to us for a while in between things. Seemed a nice guy.

Most famous person I've got close to would be tearing away at the lead singer of fallout boy's arm.

My friend's mom use to be a movie star back in the 90's! (lol, not adult for those thinking that!)

 

I used to work in a bar in London, and once there was a VIP function ... heh, i was the bartender for the VIP room. Lots of stars ... and crazy stuffs happening in there.

 

A guy I went to highschool with was in the movie Alaska. Also I believe he was in Buffy. His first name is Vincent, so just look it up lol.
