At first I was going to ask "are you addicted to your computer" but then I thought to myself ... this is DP, it's not your regular occasional forum, most people in here are in the internet business hardcore or at least trying to be, so I move my question to the next step by asking you: have you ever lost a girlfriend/boyfriend because you spent too much time online? Did you get to a point where you had to choose between a girl and the internet? (and you directly or indirectly chose the latter lol)
Yes, I have, recently. I run a web-hosting company and she got tired of me having to do all the work. I use my phone as a modem and she complained on me not texting her enough and spending enough time with her. :/ I'm just in high school so it really don't matter. Her sister is hotter anyway XD.
Don't have a boyfriend/lover/fiancee yet but every thing got it's own importance and you can't leave someone for pc or even pc for someone as people should accept you as you are and should not expect changes in you and your lifestyle... Well if it ever comes between my hubby and computer then i will surely leave the pc as no one is more important thn a hubby/wife .. Thanks PHYza
Since some the responders are young, I will throw this in to the mix. When I was a teen I lived on the computer and actually used MBBS which was the internet before the internet. From my mom, friends, and girls.. they always gave me a hard time. Now, I work from home and pay the bills with my "addiction" and everyone suddenly has stopped their whining.
If someone here has succeeded in both their online businesses and their personal life, I gotta say you're my hero...
Ya. I tend to enjoy my computer more then my girlfriends. My pc doesn't complain and just brings me joy how can you argue with that?
There really are two different type of relationships, people can have way better communication skills online and have none on the net.
