I'm curious if anyone has had success advertising on Facebook. Personally, I don't think I've ever clicked on an ad on Facebook, but I'm generally not an ad clicker. I would think with the amount of demographic and personal info that you have available the ads should be highly targeted and see good results. I'm debating about advertising there and I would love some feedback from here before I do. Thanks
I don't see it working very well for the little guys, the big corporations that have their stuff routinely plopped into peoples newsfeeds probably do very well. But that type of advertising must be very expensive. I would stick to trying more creative methods of marketing on facebook. Your conversions will not do very well either way, most social media outlets are difficult to convert in, just shoot for lots of volume!
I have had great success with Facebook Ads for myself and clients. The very specific target demographics can be very useful when trying to reach a niche market audience. The key is good Ad Content, and then follow-up with excellent Fan Page communications to convert friends to customers/clients.
