We've used adCenter for 2 years and despite talking twice on the phone to the very helpful support staff and various improvements to our campaigns, we just can't get much traffic from it. We struggle to get more than 50 clicks per month while the exact same campaign on Google Adwords gets 1,100 clicks per month. Have you had any success with Adcenter? If so, how did you achieve it?! Thanks
Yeah, adCenter is much smaller in terms of traffic, however, it does give very high quality traffic and converts better for Google for us. I think there are some money to be made from there, just don't give up.
adcenter is horrible compared to adwords. they need to step it up but i doubt anything will change soon.
That's indisputable victoryreds. Adcenter is dire compared to Adwords. But the Microsoft acquisition of Yahoo means that they have the combined traffic to play with. There will be one united system (using the Yahoo system marketingsolutions.yahoo.com) and hopefully they will make some major improvements.
Lower traffic but better conversions, you should diversify. Here is a helpful resource about MSN Ad center : http://www.imguru.biz/search-engine...d-center-full-method-for-good-conversion.html
The support staff are helpful at adcentre and quite proactive, especially when your new to the system. The traffic is obviously lower but is in our experience good quality.
I have never really had much success with adcentre - I mainly found the user interface to be quite sluggish and it put me off managing large campaigns. Echo the point about quality traffic though.
I was using both adcenter and adwords. I never met our budget for the keywords targetted in adcenter and would let it run non stop. Never noticed any difference in sales with adcenter running, always noticed heavy phones with adwords on. I stopped using adcenter and continue to use adwords.
